Veteran's Day Program at Smokey Road Middle School

On November 7, 2014, club members Jon Hughes and Ginger Queener participated in the Veteran's Day Program at Smokey Road Middle School in Newnan.

During the program, the club members presented veterans with a bookmark thanking the veteran for his/her service to our country.

Children at the school also participate in a contest in which they write a poem about Veteran's Day. This year, the club was asked to choose the winning poem. The winner of the contest received a Walmart Gift Card and reads the poem during the program.
