On January 20th of 2020, Anna Szabo addressed the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs.
Dressed as Linda Carter’s 1984 Wonder Woman persona, Anna stated: “You have wonder power” and it is unique. Ms. Szabo presented her own very personal story revealing years of tribulation. She stood in front of the room and boldly proclaimed she is alive and strong today because of the encouraging help she received from those who had been through similar trials.
Today, Anna Szabo is the host of a website called “Online Discipleship For Women” . There, she offers advice to women to help them overcome their struggles.
The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs would like thank Anna for sharing her story.

On January 20th of 2020, Stephen Flanagan presented a “Member Minute” or classification talk to the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs.
His presentation was divided neatly into two sections. The first section was about his family and his work. In 2004 Stephen formed an architecture firm called Studio One. Studio One leverages the idea of enriching the lives of individuals by creating spaces that promote joy, healing, rejuvenation and comfort. Stephen’s ability to deliver impressive results are well borne out when you have pleasure of viewing his work.
The second half of his presentation began with a question. Why did I join Rotary? He joined Rotary because of the absolutely transformative experience his entire family received when his youngest son Alex became involved with the Rotary Youth Exchange. Stephen went on to explain how the intermingling of families through the Rotary Youth Exchange has provided numerous experiences that he and his family will cherish for a lifetime.
The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs is thankful to be welcoming Stephen Flanagan to our family. With his vision and talent, the club can look forward to a brighter future.
