President Scott Einfeldt's Welcome Message

In 2021, The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs celebrated our 50^th anniversary of providing volunteer services and financial support to charities in and around Sandy Springs. Our core seven areas of focus are: Basic Education and Literacy, Economic and Community Development, Water and Sanitation, Disease Prevention and Treatment, Maternal and Child Health and Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution. If you have a heart’s desire to serve in one of these areas, Rotary is the best civic organization to utilize your time, talent and treasures. I welcome you to visit our club for a free lunch on us and to experience the Rotary Club of Sandy Springs' hospitality and energy. We meet on Monday for lunch at 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. at the Hilton Perimeter Suites, 6120 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30328. Ansley Wetherington - Program Coordinator RMHC Atlanta

On Monday, January 30th, The Rotary Club of Sandy Springs welcomed Ansley Wetherington, Volunteer Services and Program Coordinator of Ronald Mcdonald House Charities.

Since 1979, Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities has been keeping families close when it matters most. They have hosted thousands of families as nearby hospitals care for a child who is receiving treatment for illness or injury. 

The Mission of Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities is to transform pediatric healthcare access and experiences for families with ill, injured, or recovering children through a network of Houses, Family Rooms, Care Mobiles, and community resources.

In 2022 alone:

• 2,094 families visited RMHC
• 17,509 nights of rest were provided
• 390 family hotel stays were sponsored by RMHC

As we draw nearer to St. Patrick's Day don't forget that from March 11th- 17th McDonalds throughout Atlanta will donate 25 cents from every Shamrock Shake that is sold to the Atlanta RMHC.
