Jodi Wheeler-Toppen, an acclaimed science author, will provide the Sandy Springs public school with the best attendance at the October 13th Sandy Springs Education Force Literacy Event a grand prize of a full-day author visit (up to five 45-minute assemblies) to connect the fun and excitement of science with the power of nonfiction writing.
The winning school can choose between "Try This at Home" (wild science demonstrations combined with an overview of career options in nonfiction writing) and "Purr-fect Research is So Doggone Fun" (a playful introduction to the research process, focused on the science of pets).
Mark your calendars for this FREE, post SSEF Footprints for the Future Road Race Event and be sure your families come out to win!
Bill Nordmark of the Rotary Club of Atlanta has suffered an enormous ruptured aneurysm leaving him in a fight for his life at North Fulton Hospital. Sorry to deliver such terrible news this morning, but I believe God hears our prayers and that when we unite in prayer, we are joining forces with the Lord's army to pray his will. Please join me in prayer this morning for this amazing friend and family that has touch so many of our lives and made a difference in District 6900.
