AG Bill joined Rotary in 1994 and has been an active member of several clubs. He maintains 15 years perfect attendance and has served on the Board in one capacity or another almost all of those years. Bill and Lisa are both Major Donors, and Bill is also a Will Watt Fellow and Bequest Society Member.
Bill served as President of the Windward Rotary Club in 2005-2006. That year the Windward Club won best club in their category and Bill was honored with the Sheffield Award. He has served District 6900 as CART Chairman for three years and is now entering his second year as an Assistant Governor.
From a personal standpoint, Bill describes his wife Lisa as a person "who is my best friend". Bill and Lisa's three children named Nathan (18), Matthew (15) and Grace (5) are all Paul Harris Fellows, but Grace has the distinction of being named a PHF, 15 weeks prior to her birth. Bill is a graduate of the University of Richmond and served active duty in the US Navy for seven years.
Professionally, AG Bill is a general contractor building new homes in Atlanta's luxury market and renovating homes of all sizes. His company is Compton Properties and has been in business for 6 years. Bill is currently working towards his builders inspection license to add another service to his offerings.
